The blue hope is a rare blue diamond that weights 45.52CT & it considered to be one of the most famous diamonds in the world. Some believe that it used to be a piece of the famous diamond Taverernier that weights 112 CT & brought to Europe from India by a French dealer in 1642.
After the big blue diamond brought to Europe the professionals polished him & the Taverernier diamond got to the weight of 65.50 CT, then he got sold to king of French Louis the 14tn. During the French revelation the famous blue diamond was stolen. A smaller similar diamond pups up in 1830 & sold to Henry Philip Hope – there for his name.
